IMPORTANT BOOKING INFORMATION
Tickets are free to reserve at the point of booking. After booking, someone from the team will be in
touch to confirm the session cost and provide bank details for payment (unless the event is listed as
free with a donation).
We will explore how common plants have traditionally been used to support the body, the importance of safety and respect when working with herbs, and how to begin building a basic understanding without overwhelm.
This is about learning, curiosity, and reconnecting with simple plant knowledge in a grounded way.
What we’ll cover:
What herbal remedies are and what they are not.
An introduction to a small selection of commonly used herbs.
Basic preparation methods such as teas, infusions, and simple home uses.
Safety, contraindications, and knowing when herbs are not appropriate.
How to start learning about herbs responsibly and at your own pace.
This is a teaching session rather than a hands-on medicine-making workshop. No prior knowledge is needed, and you do not need to identify as “herbal” or alternative to attend.
Suitable for beginners, curious minds, and anyone interested in traditional plant knowledge approached with care and common sense.
